Easter

Okay, I may have skipped a week, but I have been super busy. Life gets a little hectic sometimes!
Here we are looking at back at Easter this year. We couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous day.
We hosted some family at our house for Lunch. And than brought the boys outside for a fun Easter egg hunt. Jack really enjoyed this - I think Aunt Sarah and him hunted for his eggs 10 more times! He really found out how awesome the eggs were when he found goodies inside ;)

And checking out the goodies inside.

Andrew finding his basket. Didn't take him too long!

Excited he got Sherlock Holmes on Blur-Ray

Jack recieved this cute insprired "Nemo" hat from Grandma Kris and ate it the next day!

Getting serious here...

A somewhat good pic of us two!

Finding out what its inside.

Yummies of course!

Sweet Henry - he'll get to enjoy it more next year ;)

Brotherly Love???!!!

Back in April this year, I had Henry and Jack sitting on our chair in the living room. I wanted to get some cute pics of them together, but of course Jack was being a little stinker and didn't want to hug or kiss his brother. So here is a series of the pictures of which eventually led to some love!
Enjoy!

Last Fall we decided to get a membership to the Brookfield Zoo. It was well worth if for a family of 5! Here are some pics from a visit we did back in April with Grandma Kris.

Watching the Gorillas eat. Jack loves them! Right now he watches the movie Mighty Joe Young and calls them all Joe ;)

Jack and Andrew being silly.

Grandma Kris and Henry peeking through the window.

Henry hanging out with Mama.

Love this pic of Jack watching the sea lions swim.

Sitting on top of a walrus (fake of course!)

Jack being silly. And I do remember this day - he wanted to climb on every dirt hill we came upon… typical Boy!

We lucked out and Jack got to be up close to watch the sea lion feed.

Henry getting cranky.

Love this pic - wonder what he is thinking as all these people look at him.

Looking Back to March

I have mix feelings about the month of March. Here in Illinois we are transitioning from Winter to Spring and it can either be nice or nasty. One day can be nice and sunny reaching into the 50s, but snow the next day with lows in the teens, even a possible blizzard! But it is nice to know that Winter is almost over and soon we'll be seeing the grass get green, buds on the trees and tulips sprouting up from the ground.
And soon we'll be wanting to get outside and enjoy it!

Here are some pics of what went on during the month of March in the Freeman Household.

Do you remember the fun it was to rub balloons on the floor and create the static electricity and make your hair stick to them? Here we have Andrew and Jack enjoying just that! It's so cute to see how much fun Jack was having playing with his big bro.

Henry drooled forever and still at 8 months, no teeth!

Jack and I having fun with the camera.

Loving Mama...

Daddy giving Jack a nice little massage. I think he really enjoyed ;)

I just love taking close up pics of children. Their features are just precious, flawless skin, big eyes... such innocence.

Jack and Henry hanging out.

Henry didn't enjoy food right away. Here is after he is done with his carrots. But now, oh my! He can't get enough.

My nose!

Why, Hello there!

Smiles in the bathtub.

So he are some snap shots of me trying to get the boys altogether for a nice picture.
Of course this one would have been perfect, but do you see Andrew's thumb? Don't know why he did that?!

Jack showing his little lego guy. Not bad...

Jack getting bored...

getting antsy...

And now he is really over and done with it!
