Jack visits Santa Claus

We took Jack to visit Santa Claus this past Friday and I was actually surprised with Jack. Both Jared and I thought for sure that Jack would scream his head off. But thanks to his Big Brother Andrew, he seemed more into his furry coat and shaggy beard than who was actually holding him.

You can't see behind the scenes, but Andrew is actually keeping Jack occupied while Santa posed for the picture.

Had to get a close up of Andrew - he is so handsome!

Jack and Cole

Carin and I finally got Jack and Cole together this month. Jack and Cole are about 4 months apart. Jack looks huge next to him, but I know Cole will catch up pretty fast. (You can read here more about Cole).
It was great to have Dustin and Jared together holding their boys who will hopefully be best friends just like their Dads!
I think in a few more months they will interact and play more with each other.
I can't wait!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

First we like to say Happy Thanksgiving and we hope you had a joyous holiday with your family and friends.
Our Thanksgiving was great. We spent Thursday with my side of the family at my Aunt Karleen's house. It was a great day. Andrew took all the pictures…he did an awesome job!

Jack's 6 month stats

Jack turned 6 months old this past weekend. Time truly does fly by - I can't believe he is already half way to his first birthday.
He had his doctor appointment on Thursday and weighed in at 20 lbs and 28.5 inches long. He is one big boy! Thankfully it's proportional than more extreme than the other.
Doctor says he looks healthy and keep up the good work.
Overall Jack is growing like a weed and will be one before we know it!

Congrats Josh and Trisha!

This has been the year of weddings for us. We recently attended our friend's Josh and Trisha's wedding. It was great time - we saw a lot people we haven't seen in years.
Trisha looked beautiful and Josh looked the happiest I have ever seen him.
We wish Josh and Trisha the best!

Halloween

We had a lot of fun this year for Halloween. The weather was gorgeous - no need for extra layers under your costume! I think it reached 70˚F that day.
It was Jack's first Halloween. He was going to be a "Jack" O Lantern, but we were invited to a Halloween party at Amy and Brad's and were asked to dress up. So I thought for awhile and came up with the best costume - Cruella DeVil and Jack as my dalmation puppy! It turned out great!
Jared and Andrew had fun dressing up as beach bums and hillbillies.
Overall, it was a great night!
Thanks Amy for hosting a great party!

Andrew's 13th Birthday

Andrew turned 13 this past Monday. I can't believe that we have a teenager in our house. Before we know it, he'll be asking to borrow the car!
Andrew is directing his life path into becoming a director/movie maker. He loves writing screenplays, creating characters and making movies. He uses puppets to help make his characters come to life. Andrew choose a muppet/movie theme for his party. It was fun decorating the place in this theme. We found a really cool director's cut at the balloon store and used filled popcorn into popcorn movie bowls. I also created a photo montage displaying pictures of Andrew's life and had it playing on our lap top.
Of course Andrew was spoiled and receive many great gifts.
