My brother Brian and his kids, Mariah and Brenden, flew in last weekend. It was great spending time with them - here are some pics from us hanging around, enjoying each other's company and playing some Wii!

Last week my cousin Danny married his long time girlfriend, Chrissy, of 8 years! The wedding was beautiful.
What was really awesome, is that they hired my brother, Brian, to be their photographer. This is my third time to see him in action - he does an amazing job each time!
Along with my brother, his kids came along too - it was great seeing them! I miss my niece and nephew a lot.
My cousin Stephanie (Danny's sister) also flew in for the festivities with her 2 girls and husband.
It was a great family weekend!

He did good! Jack had a taste of his first solid food this past Sunday. At first he was confused, but soon realized he was eating and Jack LOVES to eat! He started making noises for more - too cute!
So far he has had rice cereal and zucchini! Mom is being brave and making all his food - it's actually easier than I thought it would be.
Jared's sister got married this past weekend to Joey. Despite the rainy weather, the wedding was a blast. Sarah is one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen - I just loved her dress!

On the Sunday of Labor Day, we got together with Jared's family at a private community called Ceco. It's located in Coal City, IL about one hour and 15 minutes from Sycamore.
The day ended up being gorgeous - blue skies as far as your eye could see and it was cool enough to sit nicely under the trees.
Jack did great too - being outside for almost 10 hours!
Of course the kids had a blast playing in the sand, in the water and swimming out to the raft in the middle of the lagoon.
We couldn't ask for a more beautiful day - Thank you Lord!
