We have had one crazy winter this year (so far - it's not over yet). Last I heard, we already surpassed 2 feet of snow total and that was around New Years. We had some nice warm weather that melted everything, but than came another storm that dropped a lot of snow on us. Than came the frigid cold weather - we had wind chills of 40 below zero. I went to work one morning and it was 16 below zero (regular temp). I think this weather is suppose to be for Alaska!
So - we have been hibernating in our nice warm home for the past month. Playing games, watching movies and the boys having fun playing their video games.
Here are some fun pics of the boys. They are going too fast!

I love taking close ups of his chubby cheeks.

But Mama, I want some more food.

Jett Jackson West

My cousin Jack and his wife Reagan had a new baby this past Fall, Jett Jackson. Kenna and Blake adore him (his older siblings) and so do we! They live up in Milwaukee, WI and we were able to get the boys together during winter break. I realized that I didn't get a picture of both of them together :( I will definitely the next time they are together.
We have been blessed this year with so many babies in our family.

Here he is chilling in the boppy.

Must be teething...

I did get this cute pic of their feet together. I love it!

Jack has 5 teeth!

Jack has a total of 5 teeth now and we think more are coming. Back in late October (around Halloween), he started the teething process…Whining, runny nose, cranky - you name it, he had it! One of the bottom first popped through and than a week later the second one on the bottom popped through. We couldn't believe it!
About a month later the symptoms came back. And we couldn't figure out why. Next we know the top 2 are popping out at the same time. We felt so bad for him. He gums were so swollen. Well, during all the commotion, we didn't realize that another one was popping through on the bottom.
So in the end, Jack came out strong and has 5 teeth.
He has come to realize he has them and bites his cheerios with them. It's so cute to here the crunch he makes.
Let's hope the next ones that come him don't give him such a hard time.

Christmas 2008

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your friends and family.
Ours was definitely joyous and fun. Jack was a delight this year. I think he really enjoyed opening the gifts.
Andrew said it was the best Christmas ever! Looks like Jared and I are doing something right!

We had 4 Christmas celebrations between us and our family. Please enjoy the pictures as you read on.

Christmas with my Family

We had one more Christmas celebration to attend with my family. Since there are so many of us, we always plan our get togethers on the weekend after Christmas so we can all attend.
It was a nice, fun day. This year we decided to do an Elephant gift exchange which was a lot of fun. Everyone brought great gifts this year!

Christmas Day!

Christmas Day is just us! We have made a tradition of this special day for us that we hope to carry on.
We wake up in the morning and make hot cocoa.
Than we open gifts.
Once the gifts are open, we than head to the kitchen to make a huge breakfast.
Than we enjoy our day.
Later in the day we head out to the movies.
It's a very enjoyful, relaxing day.
This year Andrew made a comment, "This is so far the best Christmas ever!". Of course we were excited to hear that, but how will we surpass it next year? Only time will tell.
Jack enjoyed his gifts as well. He was ready for some new toys to play with. After 2 days of unwrapping presents, I think he was getting the hang of it and having fun.
Of course we can't forget what Christmas is really about:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!!

Andrew loved this sign. We are redecorating his room this month.

Freeman Christmas

Every year we get together with Jared's family on Christmas Eve. It's a lot of fun (besides the chaos) watching the kids opening their gifts.
This year, my mom's trip was canceled and was able to joy us.
